20th ANNIVERSARY LUNCHEON

It is impossible to overlook the coincidence that The Hat Ladies was created 20 years ago, the day before 9-1-1.  Nor should we.

There is no doubt the trauma that occurred immediately following our Inaugural Luncheon fueled our need for people, our need to feel secure, our need to be part of our community even faster than was destined to happen.  In fact, our strong bond was achieved "at the drop of our collective hats."

A further coincidence to this special milestone Anniversary is that it coincided with a return to "Second Sunday" on King Street, a Charleston tradition that had been suspended for @ 2 years due to COVID.	There was even more to celebrate, including our return to The Francis Marion Hotel itself, a venue that holds special meaning, having hosted our Mother's Day/Friendship Luncheons for years.
	It was wonderful having a number of husbands join us
