We're the Hat Dragons
And we couldn't be prouder
If you can't hear us now
We'll shout a little louder
We're known for our hats,
So there's no surprise there:
They protect us from sunshine
And cover our hair
We've come to Charleston's shore
From many different places.
What's brought us together
Is paddling in DBC Races
We've held many professions,
About which we could gloat
But what matters today
Is that we're in the same boat
In good times and bad times
We stick together
Paddling like MAD
In all types of weather (except lightening....)
We are the Hat Dragons
With one thing left to do
And that's to say to DBC
Our hats are off to you!
