SECOND RACE and AFTERWARDS

We're ready!	Off and paddling!
We paddled even better this time around.	We learn there will NOT be a Third Race for any but the top three Teams in the top category because water conditions have deteriorated too much to allow everyone to compete.
Time to pop open the champagne...	...and toast ourselves, without knowing the final results...

History of our Competitions

2008:  Come in second to last of 67 teams

2009:  Not enough members for Team

2010:  Move to respectable middle of Teams

2011:   Still in middle

2012:  Still in middle

2013:  Win 1st place best tent decorations; come in 4th in our division (out of medal)

2014:  Win 1st place best costume; come in 4th in our division (out of medal)

2015:  Win SILVER (beating Ashley Hall who is 1/3 of our ages)...after losing our Drummer, needing two replacements for Team member who takes role of Drummer (Kimberly), adjusting seat assignments on way to marshalling area...most of all, after thinking we didn't win anything.

2016: Win Bronze, with a newly reconstructed Team and first time Drummer

Bottom Line:  SHEER JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
