The Hat Ladies Easter Promenade

As always, our Promenade gathered at Washington Park.

It had not been publicized in any media because it was unofficial for reasons already explained.

Hat Ladies had the option of informally beginning the Day at The Park or going directly to High Cotton for our Luncheon. The fact tHAT rain was threatening led to most Ladies going directly to the Luncheon.

Two people. who had enjoyed our Promenade for years, didn't realize it could not be held in the "usual" way, stopped by to see us.	Trooper Al was there, along with John, to photograph us as they have done for years. Al writes: "I hold the date open every year. I can’t tell you how much The Hat Ladies meant to my beloved wife, Janie and, to this day, to me. It is an honor and privilege to be a part of this lovely group."
