The first one: This is a special anniversary: eight years ago today, together with the lovely Archie Burkel, distinguished president of the Hat Ladies of Charleston, I started to host, at the Permanent Mission of Romania to the UN, one of the most glamorous and envied events ever in the UN circles: The Hats of the World Annual Lunch! It caught everybody's HATtention and made a lot of ladies HATpy along the years! My team was always extraordinary and I am thinking dearly of them! Sweet Archie, give a hug to yourself and to your ladies for me! I always loved your HATtitude!
The second one: And, since so many fond memories came back to my mind while posting about the first ever Annual Hats of the World Luncheon, let me share some photos from the last one, held in 2015, before I left New York! So much elegance and fun! Long live all ladies of the world who love hats! Including my dear Archie Burkel and her lovely team! Be HATpy!
