PORTRAIT BATTLE
The Hat Ladies were deeply honored and delighted to serve as models for the 3rd annual Fr3shArt Portrait Battle at The Children's Museum of The Lowcountry. 24 artists brought their A-game to the opening reception and sketched, drew, and painted, 22 Hat Ladies. After the 12 head-to-head battles Friday evening, the competition continued Saturday in the art room. Two dozen artists battled for the championship. But the true winners were The Hat Ladies, for being asked to sit in the model's seat, and The Children's Museum, for receiving a portion of the paintings that sold.
Both Fr3shArt and The Hat Ladies enjoyed extensive coverage in The Post and Courier
And we enjoyed the kind words of the Organizers:
Archie, you're such a gem. Thank you for your efforts in Hat Wrangling. Your
Hatitudes were well received by the audience and artists alike!
