Having been to the "Winter" one, it is time to visit Catherine's Summer Palace

Hors d'ouevres and champagne await us Royal guests

The Palace is so large, it will take many frames of photos to capture it

Inside at last.  Ready to ascend the same staircase as the "King and Queen"

Look at the top; they're waiting for us!

We are given a Tour

Once again, what is gold IS gold

And what is brown IS amber

Do you really like hers better?

(It's actually made of paper)!

More treats

And more champagne

We are officially greeted by The Royal Couple

Then serenaded by the Royal musicians

Then entertained by the Royal dancers.

Next came dinner in the Servant's Quarters.  What do you expect for $1200.00 per couple....

Finally we departed as the band played on...

Ho hum.  Another day, another Palace.  This time it's Peterhof, a series of palaces and gardens and fountains laid out on the orders of Peter The Great.

Peterhof is sometimes referred to as the "Russian Versailles." This view is looking down from the main Palace building toward the Nova River.

Everyone waits and watches for the fountains to go off

This time Jeff is left holding the...clothes...

...while John is left holding the camera and taking great photos

Our hats make us friends wherever we are...

...and whoever THEY are!
