Read your third
graders Aunt Flossie's Hat (and Crab Cakes Later). It tells about
two children who visit their Aunt. She gives them hats to try on, then
tells stories/memories about the hats. Bring in hats for the children
to wear that week. They'll love them. They'll put them on, read the
book, and "...simply be adorable."
